Analysis of Grinding Principle and Grinding Method of Centerless Grinding machines
Release time:2021-04-14
Centerless Grinding machines, also known as centerless grinding, is a type of grinding process. There are two grinding wheels, a guide wheel and a grinding wheel. The guide wheel drives the cylindrical workpiece to rotate on the shim, while the grinding wheel plays a grinding role on the workpiece. Centerless Grinding machines belongs to the weekly grinding method.
The Centerless Grinding machines Method is composed of three mechanisms: a grinding wheel, an adjusting wheel, and a workpiece support (bracket). The grinding wheel actually performs the grinding work, the adjusting wheel controls the rotation of the workpiece, and causes the workpiece to have a cutting speed. As for the workpiece support, which supports the workpiece during grinding, there are several ways to cooperate with these three components, except for stopping grinding, and the principle is the same.
Centerless Grinding machines wheel is a type of grinding wheel installed on a centerless grinder, which interacts with a guide wheel and a support plate to form a grinding method. The workpiece being processed is supported by the support plate and driven to rotate by the guide wheel in the direction of the support plate. When grinding the workpiece, the surface quality is high and the accuracy is relatively high. In grinding, the selection of grinding wheel particle size is also quite important. Coarse grained centerless grinding wheels are often used for rough grinding processing, and can only process workpieces with low requirements. Generally, in order to accelerate the grinding speed, this method is used for the first processing of workpieces with large processing volume. This is because of its fast processing speed, but the smoothness of the workpiece is low.
On the other hand, the precision of workpieces processed by fine edged centerless grinding wheels is the opposite, with slightly higher processing accuracy. However, the smoothness of the processed workpieces is high, and the number of degrees of washing can achieve the desired effect. Therefore, the selection of centerless grinding wheels should be based on the specific technical requirements of the workpiece, including the hardness, tissue density, and particle size of the grinding wheel. Grinding different workpieces requires different cutting fluids. For ordinary iron, we only need ordinary cutting fluid, while for grinding aluminum soft parts, kerosene is needed for cold cutting.
Centerless Grinding machines method
1. Fixed type centerless cylindrical grinder with grinding wheel frame. The grinding wheel frame of this type of centerless grinder is fixed on the bed, and the guide wheel and bracket can be adjusted and moved relative to each other. During through grinding or cut in grinding, the guide wheel, bracket, and workpiece perform feed and compensation movements together,.
2. A mobile centerless cylindrical grinder with a grinding wheel frame. The bracket of this type of centerless grinder is fixed on the bed, and the grinding wheel frame and guide wheel frame can be adjusted relative to the bracket. In special cases, feed motion can be performed. Most of these types of centerless grinders have grinding wheels, guide wheels, and spindles
Adopting a double support structure form.
3. Tilted centerless cylindrical grinder, in which the center line of the grinding wheel and guide wheel is inclined at an angle of a to the horizontal plane, and the bracket is fixed on the bed. The grinding wheel and guide wheel spindle are a double support structure, and the guide wheel frame can adjust relative to the bracket, while the grinding wheel frame performs feed compensation motion.
