What should I do if there are rough marks on the surface of the machined parts of the Centerless Grinding machines?

Release time:2021-03-24

Centerless Grinding machines is a type of grinder with shortened lateral dimensions, which is particularly suitable for use in a small installation space and can meet the requirements of various production lines for simplification and space saving. It is a very convenient, sensitive, and convenient device in the process of application, with an efficient control system and simple operation during operation. It is suitable for both single room production and small batch processing as well as large batch workpiece production. The equipment has many elective projects and accessories to choose from, and the equipment has a wide range of applications. Even for grinding operations on messy surfaces, it can effectively achieve operational reliability.

Centerless Grinding machines is particularly suitable for use in a small device space, a type of grinding machine with reduced lateral dimensions. And it can meet the requirements of simplification and space saving for various production lines. Due to the fact that the grinding wheel dressing unit is located at a tilted downward position above the grinding wheel, there is no need to maintain a space on the side of the grinding wheel for the grinding wheel dressing unit, which is closely related to the lateral dimensions of traditional centerless grinders. Therefore, it is possible for adults to reduce the lateral dimensions of the centerless grinder and install it in a small device space, meeting the requirements of simplification and space saving for various production lines, and improving accuracy and efficiency.

The sudden roughness marks on the surface of the processed parts are mainly caused by the coarse-grained grinding wheel particles falling off and being sandwiched between the grinding wheel and the workpiece. The following methods can be used to solve this problem:

If the traces left during rough grinding cannot be removed during fine grinding, the fine grinding allowance should be appropriately increased.

2. When coarse-grained abrasive particles are found in the grinding fluid, the debris inside the grinding wheel casing should be removed and the grinding fluid replaced.

3. If the material toughness is too high, aluminum oxide grinding wheels should be selected.

4. When the coarse-grained grinding wheel is just finished, its abrasive particles are prone to dry grinding. Therefore, the worktable speed should be lowered to make the centerless grinding wheel finer, and rough machining should be carried out at a lower longitudinal speed, or a finer grained grinding wheel should be used instead

5. Generally, the material is hard and the grinding wheel is soft; The material is soft, but the grinding wheel is hard. But if the material is too soft, a softer grinding wheel should also be used.

6. If the grinding wheel is not properly trimmed and there are raised abrasive particles, the grinding wheel of the centerless grinder should be re trimmed and the machining should be restarted.
